Camp Kookaburra is a school camp set in 60 hectares of rural bushland near Corop, in Central Victoria, between the large regional towns of Bendigo and historic Echuca on the Murray River.

We’re 20 km from Rochester and just 160 km from Melbourne via the Hume and Northern Highways.

Directions if travelling from Melbourne

If travelling from Melbourne, turn off the Hume Freeway on to the Northern Highway (Echuca – Kilmore Road).

At the north end of Heathcote, turn right at the Elmore/Echuca turn-off, then after 10.5km, take the Colbinabbin/Rushworth turn-off (the Heathcote-Rochester Road).

Continue northwards, crossing the Bendigo-(Colbinabbin)-Murchison Road, then turn right on to the Midland Highway (towards Shepparton). After 4.5km (passing through Corop) turn right into Darrigans Road (an unmade road) which has a sign to Camp Kookaburra. After 1.2km is a sign at the start of the 1km driveway into the camp.
