Going on school camp is very exciting and lots of fun and will offer you a fantastic range of activities that will be fun and challenging for both you and your friends.

When you arrive at Camp, you will meet Ian and the rest of the Camp staff who will explain all of the Camp Rules and answer all those tricky questions that you might have. Then they will take you for a walk around our camp to show you all the activities and to introduce you to any of the camp animals we may see on our walk.

Just remember that the two most important things at Camp are your SAFETY AND HAVING HEAPS OF FUN WITH YOUR FRIENDS!

Rooms :

All the rooms have bunks with an ensuite bathroom. Remember to pack your top sheet, sleeping bag and pillow to make your bed your own. As your room is a “no shoe” area please remember to bring your slippers for wearing inside. Have a look at our suggested packing list to make sure you have what you need for camp, and please remember that no food or drinks are allowed in your rooms.

Food :

You won’t be hungry at Camp Kookaburra, there is always plenty of food and lots of seconds – things like spaghetti bolognaise, sausages, hamburgers and salad, dessert, morning and afternoon tea and there is always fruit available as well.

Activities :

There are lots of fun activities at camp, such as flying fox, abseiling, archery, indoor climbing and many more, you will have lots of fun and try new things at school camp. Watch out for the Pirate’s water cannon attack when you are canoeing and you will especially look forward to the Camp Kookaburra tug of war challenge on the last day of camp.
