Catering
We offer catering services for schools and community groups,
with the option for groups to choose self-catering if they prefer.
Our catering services are available only during Victorian Term Dates; outside of these dates, only self-catering is available.
Our Meals
Our meals are inviting, nutritious, generous and adaptable to the preferences of all types of different school camps or community groups, as well as to the special needs of individual participants. At suitable times, outdoor barbecue meals are provided and packed meals can be prepared for off-site activities.
Seconds are always available.

Self Catering
Camp Kookaburra can provide self-catering facilities.
If you choose this alternative, your group needs to provide all the consumables such as food, cooking and cleaning materials.
We recommend that you have someone in your group with some experience to do the planning – that’s the key – so that tasks are shared and everyone can enjoy their time here. We also recommend that you have a person with a ‘Food Handlers Certificate’ to ensure good food handling practices are adhered to.
We are happy to offer some catering ideas that can enhance your stay and provide guidelines that ensure the final clean up is done effectively and efficiently.
Why is a Pre-Camp Visit Required? To comply with local health regulations regarding food storage, preparation, and handling, we require a pre-camp visit. This ensures that we meet all necessary standards. The visit must be conducted by the group leader who will be present during the camp.
